Does this PC have a sound card installed?

It says it has "Integrated IDT 92HD65C Audio" but I'm not exactly sure what that means. Does the word "integrated" mean it has a sound card? If not, then does the motherboard allow a sound card to be installed?

it says *Integrated audio is not available if a sound card is installed. so i would think that i dosent have one in and you could install one in as it has pci express

Well hell, all this time I'm assuming the damn thing has a sound card. I guess that partly explains why it was so cheap. Well, I can add this to my 'to buy' list, thanks.

Well, hold that thought, someone else told me that it does have a sound card, so I'll just call the service department that set it up to make sure.

It does have integrated audio. The notation Integrated audio is not available if a sound card is installed just means if you install a discrete sound card like Asus or Creative etc integrated audio will be disabled, similar to integrated graphics being disabled if a discrete graphics card is installed.

to the thread starter what you posted was the model of the sound chipset that part of the mb. most of the newer mb now use realteck audio chipset. when looking at mb you have to know your audio chipset and what number is the better chipset for gaming.
