The PSU I'm using is the EVGA Supernova G1+ 650W. The GPU I will be using is the AOURS 1080 Ti which I hear requires a lot of power, 2x8 pin connectors. The question really is, can I combo this PSU to this GPU with the standard 4x6+2 connectors. I have little experience building computers and I'm not sure if you are able to combo a few 6+2 connectors to make 2x8 ones or if I need specific cables.
Another question, would the 650w be enough power for this system

The 2 pin clip to the 6 pin when installed into the GPU making an 8 pin connector.
Pretty much all 8 pin connectors on modern power supplies are 6+2pin
