We're looking to add a soundbar to our projector setup at home, but to get the direction of the speaker correct, we need to either run a wire through our living room or try connecting via Bluetooth. Neither of us have a lot of experience troubleshooting audio connections, so can anyone confirm if the equipment linked below will work in this way? If not, what would you recommend? Is there a better way to go about this that you are aware of?

The starting point is to go online and find the applicable User Guide/Manuals.

Likewise read the applicable product manufacturer's FAQs and Forums.

Read, study diagrams, etc. to get a stronger sense of it all.

Sketch out your own diagram/project plan showing what you require. Make some measurements, scout out potential cable runs (walls, basement, crawl spaces, attic).

Decide what is ideal. Nothing wrong, improper, or incorrect about starting there.... :)

Look for obstructions and potential problems. Along with potential work-a- rounds.

Try figuring out Bluetooth first. If you can avoid running a wire that would be good.

But if Bluetooth (short range ~ 30 feet) proves problematic then you can always fall back on running a wire.

Research (Google) for similar links.

The key is what you can learn and figure out.

The more you learn the more successful the project is likely to be.

And/or you will be able to ask more specific questions and understand the answers.

Details matter.
