Hello All;
Quick question: I have an older Riva TNT2 Ultra 32 MB card, and I'm trying to figure out if it supports Hardware Transform and Lighting. I've searched many sites and checked out the documentation that came with the card, but I can't find the info anywhere. Would anyone know the answer to this, as well as where such an answer can be found?
Thanks very much in advance to all those who take the time to respond.
Best wishes,
smeghead

No. All TNT2's have no H/W T&L engine

What Audio Compression Technology you use for storing music? <A HREF="http://forumz.tomshardware.com/community/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=25137#25137" target="_new"> Tell Here</A>

Definately n ot, U R out of luck...a Nivia GF3 & Radeon 7500 are the lowliest cards that support T&L I think U will find

no-one shouts louder than someone who is being ignored, or in the case of techies, to be heard over the noise of their PC's ;-)

Uhm, I might be wrong, but I thought the original Geforce256 and next, the Radeon 256 supported hardware T&L

Soon enough, Intel will make the i845s...imagine dual channel Sdram...*shudder*

Don't know about ATI, but the first GeForce (also called GeForce 256 or nv10) definitely had a GPU and therefore could do HW T&L.

No TNTs support this of course...
