Does turning off raw input in game disable built in mouse acceleration

I have a Mad Catz RAT 5 Laser GAming mouse and I play CSGO with it. I heard that all laser mice have built in acceleration no matter what, but does having raw input off disable it?

Solution
Not that I am aware of. Raw input usually just takes whatever comes in and then lets the driver / Windows determine what to do with it. On my MADCATZ for example I have a DPI button, I can go from 600DPI up to 2400DPI, which I can 'fly' across the screen easier (2400DPI) or if I want narrow precision I switch down (600DPI).

Solution
ADNS 9500 has built in randomly occuring 5%+ acceleration, its more frequent on black surfaces.

Raw input (m_rawinput 1) will not change a sensors inherent flaws, just be happy you don't have an 8200 dpi (ADNS 9800) mouse, those have 15.2 ms of input lag. the 5% positive accel is barely perceptible and far outweighs the difficulty of working with optical, such as needing native resolutions and sensitivity manipulations etc.

Do not surpass 2000 dpi,

Do not go under 800 dpi.

adjust in game accordingly. With raw input enabled, which it should always be, you can go below 1 in game if need be.
