[SOLVED] Does undervolting my GPU will decrease its performance?

I have a Vega 56 and i wonder if i undervolt it will make it slower or faster or damage it...

Usually undervolting is combined with underclocking to prevent overheating. Some hardware can run as stock speeds with small reductions in voltage. But "your mileage will vary" ...
