Question Does unplugging a power supply randomly to a, computer in use, damage the internals or any sort?

im asking cause usually someone in my house does this and i wanted to make sure that nothing is damaged even if it occurs.
my power supply is 550w bronze certified

Physically, probably not.

However, if the computer is in the process of some software upgrade or normal shutdown procedures then there could be file corruption and subsequent problems.

That "someone" needs to use the applicable shutdown and power off process relevant to the computer being used.

There is no reason to unplug a power supply (aka a computer) under normal circumstances.

Why is that someone doing so?
