Does updating chipset drivers make a difference?

I have a abit x38quadGT.. and I believe I am running Vista drivers...I OC.. would I or could I benefit from chipset drivers say from Intel??

I dont know much about this..

I have the latest series 3 chipset driver from Intel on my X38.
