Yes, if the card is maxed out at 720p.
For instance.....
At 1360x720 each frame has 979,200 pixels.
At 2560x1080 each frame has 2,764,800 pixels.
That's almost three times as many pixels per frame.
Your fps will drop accordingly.
This seems reasonable.Just as a very general "for instance"....I just put together a system using a 1050ti mini for a friend's son. With Furmark at 720P preset test it was getting right at 70FPS. On the 1080P preset it was at 42FPS.
