Does using a Molex to 6+2 PCI-E adapter cause reduction in Video card performance?

I have a Corsair CX430 PSU and have to use the Molex to PCI-E adapter because there is only a single 6+2 Cable on the PSU and my 270x requires two. Should I buy a new PSU like the Cooler master v550 which has 2 PCI-E 6+2 cables or stick with the current setup?

The CM V550 is a good unit made by Seasonic and is suitable for use with a 270X. The CX430 is not very high quality and not made to power a 270X.

I doubt it hurts your performance, but you need a stronger PSU for that card.
