Hi

I have a ROG Strix X570-E Gaming Motherboard
with AMD Ryzen 3950X Processor
and I'm already using WD Black SN750 1TB | PCIe 3.0 x4 | NVMe 1.3 | M.2 2280 | Single-Sided
Now I'm planning to add Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB | PCIe 4.0 x4| NVMe 1.3c | M.2 | MZ-V8P1T0BW

Q: Does the Samsung SSD will work with it's Full speed or it will be affected(Slowed) by the other PCIe Gen 3 SSD ??

Not same. Slot powered by CPU always has 4 lanes open and can always go full speed no matter what. Slot powered by chipset might be slowed down by other devices that use chipset lanes (like USB, SATA drives). It is always best to use CPU powered slot for system drive.

So since Samsung 980 Pro is PCIe Gen 4.0 (Faster) is it better to use it on CPU Powered Slot
Is it the same logic for Asus Rog Strix X-570-E ? as they didn't mention anything like this is the documentation or it may differ from motherboard to motherboard .

Yes, although for typical use you will not see any real speed difference between PCIe 4 and 3 drives. What matters is that system drive is on CPU slot - in your case it does not matter which one will be system drive.

This is general knowledge how each chipset is built. (Some motherboards manuals have the chipset diagram - however most don't because typical user will not understand much from it). So it will be the same for each X570 board no matter which model.
