I live in Germany and plan to be buying parts for a new PC. The voltage here is 230 volts and compared to, for example the US, which is at 110 volts, it's considerably more.
I'm worried that if I buy everything and piece it together, the first time I plug it in, I'll fry everything. I've checked the PSU and it can handle 110 - 240 volts. Does the PSU regulate the electrical input and protect the rest of the components? I haven't been able to find anything about this on google and two friends of mine said it should be fine, but were unable to answer that themselves. I would also ask, if I used the PC in another country with a different voltage output, would everything also run smoothly?
