Does Vram add when Sli or crossfire

I'm planning to build my first pc soon and may Sli my gpu. But do the vram add on to each other.
EX: gtx 760 2gb + gtx 760 2gb= 4gb?

Sorry if this is a noobish question. I only know some things about computers.

No the memory is shared in Xfire/SLI, it does not add like you described.

Nope, they can't be added together, I wish they could though, then I'd have a lot of VRAM for myself
