Does Wifi work on windows 8 ? Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN

Hello guys,

I want to shift from my Windows 7 to windows 8.
I am using Dell Studio 1450

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6600 @ 2.20GHz
Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN

Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet

Mobile Intel(R) 45 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)


windows 7 is working very well but I not sure about windows 8.
I checked intel site for WiFI Drivers but it does not have specific driver for win 8. Will Win 8 directly take drivers & wil work fine ??

Please do help me..

Should work just fine most likely Windows 8 has the drivers built in.
