Know that I have decided to upgrade my PC I thought I would buy a Intel core i5 4690k to be able to play games better. But when I install the new CPU I cant get my screen or keyboard to respond. I looked up the problem on the internet but there is no awnser that can help me in any way. Recently I found out at intel's home page that the CPU does not support windows 10 (I think)
Or is it my mother board ASUS B85M-G that does not support the CPU PLZ help me ;-;

Your screen and keyboard don't respond? At all? Even at startup?

It could be that you need to update your bios before you can use that CPU in that motherboard, and for that you need a CPU that already works in it. So if I've read it correctly, you bought a new CPU and already had the motherboard? If so, put back the old CPU and update the BIOS, then put the new one back in.

It's not Windows. That CPU is recent, and will work fine with Windows 10, the issue is somewhere else, and I suspect either the BIOS or the CPU itself.
