Hi,
Soon I am going to buy Dell 3140 touchscreen laptop.
While looking for Windows 11 drivers for this model on Dell Support site, I notice that there are no touchscreen drivers mentioned.

There's only something called

Intel HID Event Filter DriverRECOMMENDEDMouse, Keyboard & Input Devices15 Dec 2022

So I suppose touchscreen comes under Input Devices.
If this is not going to be the driver for touchscreen, just in case, does Windows 11 come with default inbox driver for Touchscreen laptops?
Please confirm.
Thx.

It comes with Win 11 preinstalled, right?
If so, the touchscreen will work.

It will come with Windows 11 pre-installed. But in my observation pre-installed Windows always comes with bloatware and unwanted trialwares like Office/Antivirus etc etc.

So after activation, I generally wipe the system drive, do a clean install of Windows and install only the required / better drivers from the manufacturer website.

So that's the perspective behind asking this question.

A vanilla Win 11 install will absolutely work with that touchscreen.

But, my last two laptops with a preinstalled OS, 1x Win 10 (Lenovo) and 1x Win 11 (MS Surface) were bloatware free.
No trialware at all.
