HI, Good evening, im new to these forums, but not to computers. I have a

Intel Celeron Dual-Core N2830 (2.16GHz) Turbo up to 2.41)
4GB DDR3 Memory 500GB 5400RPM HDD
Intel HD Graphics
1366 x 768
Windows 8.1 64-Bit

Question, Does Windows Ready Boost work? I have 12GB in a USb thumb drive set aside just for ready boost, along with me 4GB DDR3 builtin, Over kill?

Thanks. Cheers!!!

With 4GB RAM, no you won't notice any real world difference. ReadyBoost is only useful on *very* low spec machines running 2GB RAM or less. At best you *may* notice the slightest increase in boot time (1 second maybe =P ), or loading of some software. But honestly, it's not worth it.
