I have thoshiba satellite l50-a-13k
Specs:
CPU:Intel core i5 3230m
GPU:Nvidia geforce gt740m
RAM:6GB DDR3

I think that my windows dont recognize my gpu!I have all drivers installed for intel HD graphics and Nvidia. When i open dxdiag it says that i have intel HD graphics 4000 with 1,5GB of video memory.I thought that that is an error with dxdiag but now, when i clicked an option in video settings of one game "check my specs and set the graphics..."the game said that i have Intel HD graphics 4000.Is my Nvidia gt740m working?

Solution
- Make sure you have installed GT 740m driver from Nvidia http://www.geforce.com/drivers.
- Check if Nvidia Control Panel is on your system tray.
- Download software to monitor your GPU usage/temp and etc such as
// GPU-Z (Gefore GT740m should be named there)
// MSI afterburner (Run this program and simply run a game, check your GPU load, you see if your GPU is working).
