i have to run some applications which does not support os above win xp. does all motherboard drivers work perfectly!

I'm doubtful if motherboard makers still make drivers for XP, u can run 7/8 and run ur programs in compatibility mode or run an XP Virtual Machine inside 7/8

honestly, there is no point going for older components to run an outdated OS, as i said just run ur programs in compatibility mode
