I'm constantly writing/deleting data on my usb flash drive as well as transferring data from one flash drive to the next. Does this affect the computer's SSD in anyway?

On a very very minor scale, sort of.
There will be some write cycles on the SSD, even if just temp files.

But that is totally inconsequential, in the context of when that SSD may die.
