Hello guys...

I am building my first pc after the 1050ti in my hp omen laptop died (vanished from device manager, drivers no longer install).
I do follow tech news from time to time and as far as i know, rtx 3000 series is coming, also amd 4000 series coming (zen 3).
Although i feel like now is the worst time to build a pc, considering all the stuff that will be released, i have no choice, and to make matters worse, this will be my first time building a pc.
Anyhow enough talking....
My question is, does x570 support 3400g, also does it support 2400g?
Am planning on using the vega 11 in the mean time, and when the 4000 series is released then i can upgrade (is this wise? i would like to hear your opinions!)

Thx Alot

Solution
X570 supports both 2400 and 3400g.

Latest bios updates 'may' remove ryzen gen 1 support (meaning 2200/2400g) but yes at the moment all cpu's should be supported.

Is it a good idea?

It depends how much you need a pc.

Do not expect great gaming perfoemance from the integrated graphics though.

The main issue with your idea is that x570 boards are overexpensive imo and generally the 3400g is currently overpriced.

It will work though yes.
