Does XBMC hurt SSD ?

I like to install xbmc on SSD for fast response, but I only use XBMX addon to stream online content ,
My Qs:
Does streaming video hurt the SSD ?

what ssd do you have ? Streaming videos shouldnt hurt the ssd . (If websites like youtube works on your ssd than xmbc should too)

SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE250BW 2.5" 250GB,
because people keep saying constant writes will short shorten the life of a SSD, but I don't know stream video using XBMC addon (e.g. iTunes add-on, YouTube add-on and other add-on ) will have constant writes to the SSD or not ?

yea the writes will shorten the life of a SSD but people are underestimating the life of SSDs in general.
As a tip (from http://www.anandtech.com/show/7173/samsung-ssd-840-evo-review-120gb-250gb-500gb-750gb-1tb-models-tested/3)
a 250GB samsung evo should last 8 years with 50Gigs of data written to it every day which is unlikely in your case. you would have to be watching HD video for a large portion of the day to even reach 50gigs.
