Does Xeon E5450 work without a Graphics Card?

Hi

I am planning to get a LGa 771 cpu to fit on a lga 775 mb with mod converter from ebay

So the question does Xeon E5450 have internal graphic will it work without graphic card?

My motherboad is Msi g31

This cpu is not for gaming just for browsing the web, word processing watching videos (not high)

That motherboard should include an Intel GMA 3100 GPU. It certainly isn't powerful, but it may meet your requirements.

Yes, you can get a display out of it without a dedicated GPU, I have the same CPU pared with my ASUS P5G41T-M LX with LGA 771 to 775 mod, but the resolution is really messed up. Because the output comes from the GPU in that is included in Chipset, which is actually meant for displaying things like your BIOS. This types GPUs are included in almost every motherboard. The Ryzen CPUs (not the APUs) too don't have any iGPU but you can get a video output from them using the GPU in your Motherboard Chipset.
