does your vp930 stink

There is this horrid electrical smell in my room and have been sniffing around and have found out that my Viewsonic VP930 19" LCD Monitor is the culpret. I would just like to know if anyone else who owns this monitor has noticed similar smells. I smells the worst just on the top of the monitor that area also get quite hot.
Anyone know how i can get rid of this smell?

I was also quite dissapointed with this monitor as i thought lcds where meant to be space saving. I only have a small desk and this monitor cant be pushed back very far at all because of its stand. Its close to taking up as much room as my old CRT.

well i don't know how you could fix the stink, you could possibly have some circuitry problems within the lcd which is causing it to stink so you may wanna get it replaced. You could save some space by mounting your monitor on the wall. But mouning brackets come at a pretty hefty price.
