[SOLVED] Doesn't register microphone sounds

I've a problem where there's something on the hardware end, because i had another ssd on laptop and microphone worked fine on laptop and it's OS, while when I replaced my computer storage with laptops' it still doesn't work.
Generally it sees the microphone (both rear and front panels), but audiobar doesn't recognize sounds.
I've tried reinstalling all the drivers and no luck. Headset works perfectly fine on other laptops, phones, etc.

Bit hard to make out what exactly you did, did you put in the boot drive from your laptop into another system? When you change motherboards you should do a clean Windows setup on the new hardware, then install drivers there.

i got the same problem on my pc.... got no solution yet plz suggest what to do
