I'd like to dedicate a Debian-based Linux machine to emulating Wii, using Dolphin, and PS2, using PCSX2, which seem to be the two go-to's for both consoles. I'd also like to use an SBC, since they're cheap, compact and simple. Based on Dolphin's recommendations, PCSX2's recommendations, and this comparison of SBCs, I'm leaning towards the ODROID-XU4. Will it do the job? As long as the ROMs and ISOs run decently and it's playable, I won't complain. Thanks in advance!

I have a very similar setup to that in my galaxy s5 sport. Its specs are good, but I've never heard of it. I'd check into the warranty and return policy. Definitely worth trying.

I personally just converted a really old desktop to a debian-based vpn server.
Let me know how it goes!

I apologize for the late reply, have been away from my computer. If I recall correctly, both Wii and PS2 games ran at 480p, so that'd be alright.
