Dom GT vs No-Name

Heya there guys,

Getting ram for a new comp (dual channel) and have two options...

The Dom GT which is reliable, known to work well etc.

Then there's the 'Team Xtreem' which operates at 1866MHZ instead and is cheaper

I have:
Core i7 860
Giga P55-UD3R
Noctua NH-U12P
HD 5850
Antec 902
Corsair HX 650


Note I can't really get anything other than off that website. It's the most convenient for me.

I would go with these - they have the same speed and timing as the Dominator you had but are about $60 less - see the article I linked above about what the high performance memory gets you.

It's a fairly hardcore system tho, I want to put it ram with some good timings rather than 'value ram'. It seems pointless not to pay a little $30 extra and get timings of 7-7-7-21 vs 9-9-9-24. I think the price of the Corsair is partly overinflated due to the reputation of the brand. Yet again, the parts might be of higher quality; who am I to know.

Which one are you looking at with timings of 7-7-7-21? Neither of those you listed above have those timings.
