I have a native mode 2000 domain.
I also had an old NT4 domain. I have now moved all the
workstations from the old domain to the new 2000 domain.
The only machine left in the old NT4 domain
is the PDC. I have now switched the PDC off for the old NT4 domain but I
still
see the domain listed in the entire network list plus on the AD servers in
the 2000 domain I see the following event.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: NETLOGON
Event Category: None
Event ID: 5719
Date: 07/07/2004
Time: 16:01:27
User: N/A
Computer: LDNGC02
Description:
No Windows NT or Windows 2000 Domain Controller is available for domain
EB-LDN. The following error occurred:
There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.
Data:
0000: 5e 00 00 c0 ^..À

What do I need to do to remove this domain from the browse list and also how
do I remove the error event I am getting.
Any Ideas please

Hi,

I assume you have a two way trust between the two domains? If so, switch
on the old PDC, try deleting the trust at both ends, wait a few days and
then switch off the old PDC.

Has it gone now?
