dominator platinum & corsair air flow

I have corsair Dominator platinum 2133 MHz 2x4gb . overclocked to 2400 MHz.
I became interested in corsairs airflow pro monitoring in which I mount the airflow pro onto corsairs air flow ram cooler.
well, my buddy bought some dominator gt that came with the corsair air flow ram cooler. he can't use it because of CPU cooler clearance ; so he gave it to me.

my question is: I was fortunate enough to get the RAM cooler mounted, although in the process I found that the RAM cooler makes contact with the top fins of my dominator platinum.

- could this lead to complications or conflicts down the road?

been running like this for a couple of hours now....no issues yet.
Still would like some input.

S'up dave, im looking at doing a similar thing with my plats... i have 8 sticks of 8gb in dual banks of four... how is the fit/tolerance with the RAM? thanx in advance...

Well...ive been using the aitflow pro on the plats since Ive posted this...
Contact is minimal, and has not had any negative impact of any kind on performance...

Sorry for the late reply, been having somewhat of a hard time getting answers for my questions, so yea...Im not on to much anymore.
