Don’t know what’s happening

I built a new computer yesterday but every time I try to boot it up with the graphics card installed windows doesn’t run, the monitor just stays black
The graphics card is a Asus Geforce Ggx 1060 6gb
If I run it straight off the motherboard it works perfectly
Please help

Is your monitor plugged into the gfx card and not the motherboard port? When the BIOS sees a gfx card in the PCIe x16 slot, it disables the iGPU.
