PC question - only 2 years old… lol
Not exactly sure what’s going on-
Was working fine outside of the Ethernet connection since I’ve owned it - where I have to shutdown the PC completely and start it again to get some of the back ports to function, but wasn’t a big deal.
Now it’s not wanting to turn on at all. Unplug the PC completely - unplugged all USB ports - unplugged for 30 seconds and held down power button- the other thing that seems to work sometimes is turning off the PSU entirely and then sometimes it will boot up - or unplugging it.
It’s a ASUS X670-P PRIME WIFI AMD AM5 ATX- so doesn’t look like it has a power button on the board itself besides unplugging and resetting.
Turned off all power options on USBs - turned on ERP in Bios.
Took it to Microcenter - they couldn’t screw driver it so they let it sit for a day - then it powered on instantly the next day. So they ran stress tests on everything and everything came back fine and in normal range.
I have absolutely 0 clue on what to do next other then RMA the board and hopefully that fixes it- and then the PSU if it doesn’t.
Only thing I haven’t done is switch out the RAM- and removing the CMOs battery - since I can’t see it being a Bios problem- or a Windows issue so no point of reinstalling.
