HEllo,
i have surfed in a public network, which when i connected to it there was that message:
"information sent over this network might be visible to others".

ive surfed for a while and done all kind of private stuff while i was at it, and now im kind of worried...

my question is, after i disconnected, can they still see what i have done in my private computer?
places i had surfed?
what ive downloaded?
any passwords i may have entered?

Solution
In theory, yes, it's possible someone could have been capturing everything you did. In practice, nothing probably happened and any traces of your activity disappeared unnoticed into the void.

It's kind of like drunk driving. If you do it once, you'll probably get away with it (unless you're really dumb), because there are only so many cops around to bust you. But you shouldn't make a habit of it, because the penalty for getting caught is steep.
Anything you did while connected to that network could have been logged. Unless you suspect that it's been tampered with, though, there's usually not much done with the information. In theory, malicious actors could harvest data, but it's way easier to directly compromise clueless users than to try and get data at the access point level.
