If you are too daft to get there with this much information, then you need
to turn the internet off.

I was going to ask you something sarcastic, like "Do you need
someone to wipe your ass for you, too?", but I'm being nice this week.

Or... if you don't trust tinyurl.com (would you like a link for them
too??), open http://www.google.com, enter "tribes.tech39.net", click
search, read the results.

Dead? May not be hopping, but there are always new posts. and if someone
gives an address, try pasting it as is. Also, typically if there is
a subdomain, www isnt needed. Also, whats the difference between the two
examples you had?

I've stripped the bloat away for you. Now, revisit the URL I originally
supplied, find the above line shown on the page of Google and follow its
instructions.

It's more of an exercise for the imbecile that wanted the URL for
"tribes.tech39.net", tbh.

i can argue that there's still ppl playing q2 online, even more servers
and players than tribes1. a handful of ppl still play SiN and duke3d
online, but that doesn't mean there's a thriving community.

Maybe not thriving like the masses of Calcutta or Times Square, but
thriving like the colony of moth beetles in the forgotten box of breakfast
cereal in the back of the cabinet.
