Don't but this type of RAM! Can anyone tell me how good the company is with backing their warranty?

Do not buy "Ballistix Sport" RAM!

It lasted just over 1 month... Right after the 30 day Newegg warranty ended :/

Has anyone dealt with this company for an RMA? Do I need to pay the return shipping?

Each company has a different return scheme/policy. You may want to contact them via email and also keep Newegg/your seller in the loop.

It's Crucial. Crucial is the retail division of Micron. It should have a lifetime warranty.

Anything can die or be defective no matter how good it is.

Just bad luck, it happens. Not a fair reason to advise everyone else not to buy that brand unless you can prove it has consistently failed for a lot of other buyers too, or you bought several of the same brand over a year and they all failed within weeks.
