Don't know if this a monitor or GPU problem but I"m pretty sure .

So basically my "Good" monitor which I use starts flickering on and off and loses power/signal after two or 3 days of use .

I plug in my old stock monitor and no more flicker .

Weird thing is after a few hours of non-use, my "Good" monitor works fine for again 2 or 3 days until the cycle repeats .

It's not a GPU problem right ?

It's a samsung syncmaster 933aw

I would try to try the monitor on a different computer and see if it works. Also try out a different connector (use the VGA/DVI/HDMI) whatever you're not currently using. Determine whether it is the monitor or the connector on the gpu
