Hi there,
I'm looking to upgrade my PSU at the moment and I've figured that I should get either a Corsair CX750 or a HX750. The HX750 is considerably more expensive.
The reason why I want to get a new PSU is because I want to buy a good graphics card (something like the GTX 1070) and I need to get a good PSU to be able to accommodate such a card. Also I hope to install a new 4TB WD Blue Internal HDD into my PC which will go along with my existing 1TB HDD which acts as my boot drive.
Just wonder will I be okay with just purchasing the CX750 for my purposes as it's cheaper? Would I be wasting money purchasing the HX750 or would it be wise for me to spend more?
My current PC specs are as follows:
CPU: Intel i5 2500
Motherboard: Asus P8H61-M
RAM: 8.0 GB
PSU: WinPower ATX 450W
Any helpful information that you could provide would be much appreciated!
Kind regards,
Brendan
