Dont know where the noise is coming from

Nov 4, 2012

This is my first build pc. the parts are listed below. The pc starts to make a 2-3second buzzing sound and then it stops. It happens when I run a high level program for example games (sleep dogs, photoshop, open up many web tabs.) But I dont know where it is coming from? Since this is my first build, what should be aware of? Such as damage or ineffective parts. Thank you

Undoubtedly it's either your CPU cooler or GPU cooler. It could be a case fan if you have them controlled from the motherboard. I sometimes roll up a sheet of paper and point it toward a particular fan and then run the program that causes the noise. Then put your ear up to the other end of the paper tube. Move it around to point at the different fans and you should be able to tell the difference. Good luck...
