Not many pieces on TH these days that don't read like advertisement including links on how to buy. And everything is of course amazing.

I guess it is time to remove TH from my list if go-to IT news sites.

I'm sorry to hear this, but I would like to take a moment to explain. Like most other news outlets these days, we do coverage of deals and that coverage is more pervasive during deal holidays. This week, it's October Prime Day (aka Amazon Big Deal Days) and in November, there will be Black Friday weekend.

We continue to do all the things we usually do, covering straight news and posting rated reviews. We also have articles about deals the editorial team has chosen as relevant and helpful to the audience. On days like today -- because we're in Prime Day -- we do a lot of them as opposed to one or two in a day on other days. But the news you come to us for is always available and being worked on, even on Black Friday. Here's the feed page: https://www.tomshardware.com/news for all of our content. We also have an RSS feed here (https://www.tomshardware.com/feeds/all).

I'm surprised to get an actual reply, so kudos for that.

However I gotta say the things you "usually do" has been deteriorating for some time, especially so over something like the last six months and it has come a point where I can't remember seeing a review here that wasn't more like an ad. Simply put, you can't review and essentially sell on the same time - there needs to be a solid wall between ads and content, when there isn't it raises red flags. And then where there is "articles" praising offerings that does little else, then that ain't articles it is ads and the site has then become a advertising site.
