Dont no wat to do HELP?

Ive just finished building a PC for the first time, i put all the components togetherbut i dont no what to do next, 1.do i turn it on see does it work, 2.do i turn it on then install Vista, 3.do i turn it on then install the motherboard graphics card ECT.

How could you install graphics software before the operating system? Turn it on, install Vista and then the video drivers.
