Dont want it to download on my SSD!!

ok so heres the deal, i got my ssd (C drive) and my hdd (e drive) i only want certain things on my SSD, but everytime i download anything it automatically assumes i want it on my c drive which is my ssd. yes i can redirect it but its a pain and is there a way to make it assume i want everything on my e drive rather than what its assuming right now?

Move your user files to the HDD.

Also change the default download location in your browser to the HDD.

I use this trick to move the Windows Update folder to a HDD (D) and also change the TEMP environment variable to also point to a folder on the HDD (D).

Depending on what web browser you are using (or P2P app), you can change the settings through the options menu to target a different DIR than users/downloads.
