Doom !!! install

I am running a 2.8 Gzx Pentium with Audigy 2 sound card and Radeon 9200
graphics accelerator. When I try to run Doom 3, the audio repeats itself at
times and the game sometimes locks up. Any suggestions on how I can get this
mess to run properly?
