Doom looks great on my pc but I experience texture pop-ins in some areas such as switching weapons. Is this normal?

It'll take like half a second to fully load the textures once in awhile. The game looks beautiful but this is a minor annoyance for me. Is this normal and an in-game "issue" or is there something wrong with my system? I have a GTX 1060 6gb graphics card, i5 7600k CPU, MSI Z270 mobo, and 16 gb DDR4 2400 memory.

I've completed the game with GTX 760. The only problem for me was that i had to use resolution scaling (set to 75%) to have 60fps, I've encountered 0 reloading or glitchy textures, so i think the game is OK. Check your drivers, try lowering down the settings a bit and see how it goes :|

Just got an idea on the spot, don't take this as 100% truth, but if i remember correctly, Doom has an option to use Vulcan API to generate textures, which is used by AMD cards - maybe if its on and you have Nvidia GPU, maybe this has something to do with it?
