Doom3 and Linux

I am running doom3 on suse 9.0 but i cant find the savegames folder.
Anybody able to point me in the right direction.

if the Doom3 linux setup is anything like the Quake3 setup, you'll probably
find the per-user doom related files (ie configs, savegames, recorded demos,
screenshots taken, etc.) in something similar to ~/.d3 or ~/.doom3 (Quake3
used ~/.q3a for all user files) do an 'ls -la' in your home directory and
look for something either doom or id related

It's usually inside one of your hidden subdirectories within your /home
subdirectory (at least on mandrake). So, in my case, it's under
/home/username/.doom3
