Sure, me. I often choose a vendor on the basis of more than just price.
For me, quality of service, availability of support, flexibility in
customizing product offerings and delivery guarantees rank as high as
price in making my choice.

Apparently the fame was so great that in and of itself it wiped out a
lot of its own staunchest fans' memories of who the fame attended. That
makes it really hard for the rest of us to find out who got so danged
famous. Maybe their names will show up in a newspaper or something else
that has persistent memory. Until then the stories of people getting
famous via the Internet are more famous than the people who supposedly
got famous.

I've never ripped CD's into mp3's. I have made the mp3's I have downloaded
available to others. I never said I didn't.

One of the only reasons I've let my message cache grow so large,
was waiting to see this list of responses grow under the original
question. I really wanted tp meet a non-porn internet music star.
Oh well, I guess it's time clear the cache and refresh the group.

I've always loved the Dead's live tape ethic. One of my favorite bands,
Sonic Youth, has that live taping ethic as well. And my good (drinking)
buddy in college was a dirty hippie who had traveled with the Dead. He took
me along to a hippie show once... old hippy twisting on the table-top and
passing it around. Every MF in the house.... I mean every MF was dancing.
Being used to punk/indie shows from the east it was quite the experience.

Remember, you hippies taught us free love and sesame street taught us to
share.

I was the manager of a thriving audio-visual company, and a regional
sales manager for NEC electronics during those years as well
brush cut, brooks brothers suits. the whole coporate thing
