Hello,

When I booted up my computer, one of my hard drives is no longer
available to windows.

Here are the symptoms:

1) The drive letters show in Explorer. But there is not used or free
space and I cannot select them.
2) The drive does not show in disk management.
3) If I boot to DOS, I can see the drives fine, navigate to
directories, etc.

Using Partition Table Doctor, I tried rebuilding the MBR and the
partition tables. But it doesn't make any difference.

Any ideas on what to else try?

Thanks so much!

Alan

One more piece of information. Under the device manager, I do see the
drive. The properties are:

Disk: Unknown
Type Unknown
Status: Unreadable
Partition Style: No applicable
Capacity: 0 mb
Unallocated: 0 mb
Reserved: 0 mb
