Question Dose any difference between 2 single module ram and 1 dual channel ram kit

Ram like corsair 8gb ram 3000hmz single channel 2 (16 gb) module other hand (8 X 2) dual channel ram kit. What's the difference. 8 x 2 single channel ram price like 6200 and dual channel ram price like 8600 or something but higher? Why? Whats the difference

the difference is that kits are made and tested to work with each other.
with singles you might end up with a pair that works only after much tinkering and testing, or may not work in dual channel at all.
if you want to use dual channel mode, BUY the dual channel kit in the target speed with the lowest CAS in that speed.
