Hi,
I have an ASUS S46cm, with windows 8
my laptop broke because of something about windows8 automatic repair. I brought my laptop to the place i bought it. They re-installed everything. I went home and opened my laptop, opened chrome, downloaded steam, and downloaded dota 2. I clicked play, I opened my compendium, see the new challenges. Then I created a lobby to check my fps, usually I play in 800x600 resolution, all advanced options turned off and low. I tried with the default settings (1366x768, advanced options on and high). The fps was horrible and I struggled to decrease the settings. It was still horrible at 640x480, advanced options off and low, and it made my laptop very slow (chrome, windows explorer, etc). after i closed dota 2 my laptop is normal again. I noticed the fps drop happens after I connect to a game (usually after i picked a hero). any solutions for this?
