Double click not functioning in some games but working in others

For some reason, whenever I try to double left click to select multiple units (In Supreme Commander Forged Alliance and Age of Mythology) it simply doesn't register. I've tested the mouse, double clicking itself works fine since I can do it no problem in Age of Empires I. The only difference I can see between these games is that AoM and SupComFA are through Steam while AoE is not affiliated with any other program besides itself. I've already verified the integrity of game cache. Any help would be much appreciated.

UPDATE: Figured it out! Shadowplay doesn't play nice with some games, so disabling it and relaunching the game fixed my issue!
