Double image on Samsung 30" monitor at 1280x800

Hi everyone,
I just got a Samsung 305T hooked up to a pair of PNY GeForce 7900GS running on SLI with a dual-dvi cable. Strangely, I can run at native 2560x1600 but when I switch to 1280x800, a quarter of the screen is duplicated on the left (I posted a screen capture at http://www.xephalon.net/stuff/double.jpg). Any idea how to fix this? I'm running an Athlon 64 X2 4600+ on nForce 590 SLI, with Windows XP SP3 and Nvidia GeForce driver 190.38 (most updated). I need to run my games at 1280x800 or it lags like crazy... Hope you guys can help!

What happens when you disable SLI? What if you use a slightly different (higher) resolution?

Is there a tile function built into the monitor you can turn off? How about in the nvidia control panel? I've never seen one but then again i've never had that big of monitor

The picture shows the double image on the right (you can see 2 system trays and 2 recycle bins) and some vertical static lines about a quarter the way from the rigth of the screen.

I've tried to turn off SLI but no change. I tried to just take a screenshot, but the screen shot actually makes it look completely normal. Again, this problem only happens at 1280x800, but 2560x1600 works fine (luckily).

If it only happens at 1280x800, use 1440x900. The difference between the two isn't that great, and should have little impact on performance.

Good idea, except the monitor only runs at 1280x800 or 2560x1600 (native resolution). I'm not sure why it can't scale.
