Double sided tape(Velcro) with ssd

Does it work? I am installing at the bottom of the case near the power supply so I just want to secure it with Velcro tape. Will it overheat or do i really need to get a mounting bracket.

That will work just fine. It's not recommended if you plan on shipping your PC, driving it around to friends or LAN parties. Even then I would be confident it would be secure. If you're only worried about them getting too hot and the glue melting or anything don't worry about it buddy.
